The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), a non-profit trade association based in Mt. Laurel, N.J., recently named Sherry Suhosky of Jack Rapid Runners a new officer. Suhosky was named president-elect.

Jack Rapid Runners is a professional animal companion company located in Placitas. They care for your pets when you can?t be there, including tending to horses, farm animals, reptiles, alpacas, llamas, dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, and more. Jackrapid Runners is certified in pet first aid & CPR, and patrons of have called Sherry the ?pet whisperer.?

Sherry employs five full-time pet sitters who understand the specific needs of the rural Placitas community. For Jack Rapid Runners, multiple pet families are the norm. The sitters make daily, in-home visits, conduct dog walks, and offer overnight stays, feeding, pet transportation to vets and groomers, and even assist with out-of-state moves.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Sherry retired and decided to start her pet sitting business in 2006. She currently lives on her ranch, Wild Mustang Sally Ranch, with her dogs, fish, and two herds of wild mustang horses.
