'Hitchcock,' 'Django Unchained' release trailers

If you're the type who loves to get previews of upcoming films from the comfort of your own couch, you're in luck. Two trailers from much-awaited films -- "Hitchcock," starring Sir Anthony Hopkins as the famed "Psycho" director, and Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" -- have been released.

"Hitchcock" is based on a nonfiction book about the director, and focuses in on the relationship between Hitchcock and his wife Alma. Helen Mirren, who plays Alma, shines in the trailer, showing her own frustration as her husband takes the spotlight (and works with sexy actresses) while she's all but forgotten. Juicy tidbits from "Psycho," including Hitch himself taking a butcher knife to Scarlett Johansson, who plays shower-doomed Janet Leigh, also abound.

"Hitchcock" comes out Nov. 23. If you can't get enough about the fascinating director, HBO is airing an original movie, "The Girl," about his obsession with "The Birds" star Tippi Hedren, on Oct. 20.

"Django Unchained" is obviously a Tarantino film, with all the drama and violence and rapid-fire dialogue that comes with it. Jamie Foxx plays a slave turned bounty hunter who'll do anything to rescue his sold-off wife from creepy plantation owner Leonardo DiCaprio. Christoph Waltz, who so unnerved audiences in Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds," plays the German dentist-turned-bounty hunter who frees Django and introduces him to his new world.

Oh, and yes, that's Jonah Hill as the comic relief of the early KKK, the Regulators. Of course it is.

"Django Unchained" opens on Dec. 25, for those who like a little blood and guts with their Christmas turkey.

On Monday's?"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars,"?Bristol Palin?burst into tears and stormed out on her partner?Mark Ballas during a rehearsal session -- but Anderson Cooper calls the single mom's moment of weakness brilliant TV.?

"Anyone who is on a reality show knows that to get attention, you have to have a have a wardrobe malfunction, throw up, have a breakdown -- have a storyline. Bristol Palin is a genius because last night she developed a storyline that made her very sympathetic," Cooper said on Tuesday's "Anderson Live" of the 21-year-old, who tearfully argued that Ballas did not support her as much as he did previous partners Shawn Johnson and Sabrina Bryan. ("You are not even there," Palin complained, before storming out of the rehearsal space. "You didn't turn up to rehearsal! I feel like you want to go home.")

Following her televised meltdown, Palin danced the paso doble with Ballas and earned 22.5/30 points -- their highest score yet.

As Palin celebrates her Monday night accomplishment on the dance floor, Cooper suggests that the Alaska-bred mother to Tripp, 3, reconsider documenting her life for reality TV cameras.?

WASHINGTON (AP) ? The former head of a 16-member U.S. military team in Libya says the consulate in Benghazi, where the U.S. ambassador was killed, was never able to get the number of forces it needed to protect the compound.

Lt. Col. Andrew Wood's testimony, prepared for a House hearing Wednesday, said that security protection in Benghazi remained a struggle the entire time he was in Libya from mid-February to mid-August.

He said that in April, there was only one U.S. diplomatic security agent stationed in Bengazi.

State Department officials who served in Libya are expected to testify that requests for more security were ignored or denied.

Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in an attack on Sept. 11.
